Maybe it’s not just a bunch of sour puss guys gripping about sour grapes. From comparing the old car with the new I can see a difference in maneuverability and speed. The old car holds the track better, wider stance, better downforce means less slipping and sliding.
The new car is safer, and we’re glad of that. If it wasn’t we might have lost a driver this weekend. Here McDowell talks about his close call. He’s one lucky guy.

I like the way you did this, just show the evidence like you did, and people will get it!
I think the teams will eventually get the car right, and we will see some good racing the second time around, but I am always optimistic when it comes to racing. That is, after I get over my initial fits of pessimism.
They should do better at Phoenix, tonight. They have much more information for PIR than they did for TMS. We’ll see.
